For our Charity Calendar 2022 we’re looking for stunning photographs of your pets, horses and livestock! After the year we have just been through, many of us have been helped by our animals in more ways than they could ever know, companionship, friendship, and that waggy tail that is always by your side! The 12 winning photos will appear in the Four Crosses Veterinary Centre Charity Calendar for 2022, sold in aid of 'Save Rodney’s Pillar' and 'Dogs Aid'.
To enter, send up to 3 photos to info@fourcrossesvets.co.uk by Friday the 5th of November. Please read the rules before entering.
Terms and conditions:
1. Entrants can submit up to three photos in total.
2. The competition is open to UK residents only (including residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Entrants under the age of 18 need the verifiable permission of a parent or guardian to enter.
3. The submission of photographs for the competition will close on Friday the 5th November, Four crosses Veterinary Centre will select the finalists, and then voting for the month’s winners will commence from Saturday the 6th of November. The photos with the highest number of likes will be used in the charity calendar..
4. The finalists shall appear in the Four Crosses Veterinary Centre Charity Calendar 2022, which will be sold and profits will go to 'Save Rodney’s Pillar' and 'Dogs Aid'. The finalists’ photos may also be used in other promotions of the competition.
5. In the event of a tie, technical problem or evidence of impropriety with regard to the vote/number of Facebook likes, Four Crosses Veterinary Centre shall have the final decision.
6. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured. Where an individual or a residential or commercial property, belonging to someone other than the photographer is featured, or it has been taken on private land the photographer must seek permission and be prepared to provide written consent. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.
7. We are looking for original photographs, so entries must not have won any national or international competition prize previously. For the purposes of this competition, ‘national’ refers to the whole of the UK – or to individual national competitions in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
8. Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit to the Four Crosses Veterinary Centre. By entering the competition all entrants grant to Four Crosses Veterinary Centre the right to publish and exhibit their photographs on the Four Crosses Veterinary Centre website in perpetuity. Entrants whose photographs are one of the finalists or selected to appear in the Four Crosses Veterinary Centre. Charity Calendar 2022 pursuant to paragraph 12 above, grant to Four Crosses Veterinary Centre further rights to publish and exhibit their photographs in print, on their respective websites or in any other media in perpetuity. Entrants whose photographs are one of the finalists also agree to take part in post-competition publicity.
While we make every effort to credit photographers, including in printed reproductions of their work, we cannot guarantee that every broadcast use of the photographs will include the photographers’ names.
